Vessels & Spark in GRAIN ROT

Launch build · checked 2026-08-12 · Last checked 2026-08-12

System overview

Your Vessel is a temporary body; when it breaks, the Spark continues and must manage Glow while seeking another host.

How It Works

Vessels make a run physical, while the Spark lets the run continue after a body is lost. That is why a broken Vessel is not the same event as an immediate party wipe.

When a Vessel Breaks

The direct broken-Vessel answer explains the official loss condition and clearly labels the community-tested recovery detail for a main Vessel after extraction. It does not invent a conventional revive prompt.

Managing Glow

Glow is a practical survival pressure while the Spark is exposed. The Glow answer labels its light-and-friendly-player recovery detail as community-tested and deliberately does not claim a distance, timer, or recovery rate that current evidence does not establish.

Common Misunderstandings

Do not confuse losing one Vessel with losing the group’s carried run. The relevant boundary is whether the group loses its Vessels before extracting.
