GRAIN ROT does not use a standard downed-player revive loop. A broken Vessel leaves the Spark in the run, where it can seek another host instead of immediately ending that player’s participation.
Steps or Conditions
Stay connected to the group and work toward another available host. Extracting protects progress that has already reached the Outpost; the official loss condition concerns the group losing its Vessels before extraction.
What Does Not Work
Do not search for a conventional revive button or assume one broken Vessel destroys the entire run. The reported mannequin recovery for a main Vessel after extraction is community-tested, not a replacement for the official in-run flow.
Evidence and Limits
The core broken-Vessel and group-loss rules come from official sources. The main-Vessel recovery detail is labeled community-tested and should be rechecked after updates that change Outpost rooms or Vessel systems.
